Is your website still readable when visitors zoom in?

Some visitors enlarge text and pages to read more comfortably.

Important content and controls should remain available when text grows.

Open a typical page in a desktop browser.

Use the browser menu to increase zoom gradually to 200 percent.

Check that headings and button labels are not cut off.

Inspect forms so labels do not overlap fields.

If text no longer fits, a fixed container height may be one possible cause.

Mark that area for the designer and ask for flexible layout rather than forced smaller text.

Return to normal zoom and also inspect the page on a phone.

This simple check helps readers with low vision and reveals hidden layout problems.
