Offer a downloadable guide with the WordPress File block

A clear download link makes it easier for customers to obtain a guide or brochure.

WordPress’s File block displays a file link and an optional download button.

First prepare a public PDF without private information.

Add a File block to a test page in the editor.

Upload the file or choose it from the media library.

Give it a visible name explaining what the visitor will download.

Enable the download button in the block settings if needed.

PDF embedding can be configured, but its display also depends on the browser.

Preview the page and test downloading on a phone and computer.

Do not place sensitive files in public media; this block alone does not provide private access control.
