Organize your site menu with the Navigation block

A good menu shows the most important routes without becoming crowded.

Before editing, list five or six primary destinations on paper.

Open the header in the Site Editor and select the Navigation block.

Add links to the main pages and use the movement controls to arrange them.

Use short familiar labels; an internal business term may mean little to visitors.

Create submenus only when needed and keep the number of levels low.

Save the change and open a public page at desktop width.

Narrow the browser and test the mobile menu button and its open-close behavior.

Move through the items with Tab and Enter to verify keyboard navigation.

If visitors must guess how to find contact details or services, simplify the label or position.
